Adults must be responsible enough to ensure the safety from the setting-up of the material up to the end of the event.

The Do’s when Playing the Jumping Castles

There must be someone who is of legal age to supervise the equipment. A clear view of the interior of the jumping castles is preferred to easily catch a sight of what is happening inside it. Since kids are expected to be active and would run around the jumping castle, it is important that they wear the proper attire including no shoes policy. Moreover, strict implementation of weight limit must be followed to make sure it is not exceeded. Children must also be grouped according to age. Regular check-up on the ropes must be done to ensure that the Jumping Castle is secured correctly at all times.

The Don’ts when Playing the Jumping Castles

In order to have not only a blissful experience with the jumping castles but also a safe one, there are some things that should not be allowed. One is sharp objects as well as pets and glasses. Another is food, drinks or any sticky substances because they cause the floors and walls to be slippery when spilled. Strings, face paints or glitters are also not allowed because the tiny particles can get inside the body like the eyes and mouth and cause harm and kids can trip over the strings. If there are nets included, climbing is also a big no.

The do’s and don’ts are just few helpful tips that must be strictly followed. But before anything else, jumping castles must be set-up strongly by anchoring the ropes tightly to avoid disturbance caused by strong winds. There must be sufficient air pressure inside the item because increased quantity can damage it. On the other hand, having insufficient pressure inside the item, can lead to damage and break down of the item due to heavy body weight.  The proper location of the Jumping castle is also important. It should be situated in a flat, open space that will allow at least 5 feet of empty space on all side and most especially keep the jumping castle away from fire and sharp objects such as open frames, rocks or sticks.
